What is a tech pack?
The specification document a brand sends a factory to have a product made — technical flats, measurements, materials, construction, labelling and safety. It is what a factory quotes and cuts from. The longer answer.
Can my factory really build from it?
Yes. Each pack is a complete build document — bill of materials, points of measure, construction callouts, labelling and safety copy, and technical flats drawn from your actual design. It is what a factory quotes and cuts from, not a starting point.
Only apparel?
No — apparel, plush, pet, headwear, accessories and hardgoods today, and the list keeps growing.
Can I upload my own artwork?
Yes — it goes through the same builder as a generated one, and gets checked against your brand on the way in.
Do I need CAD or design software?
No. You describe the product, or bring artwork you already have. The technical flat is drawn for you.
How does my factory receive it?
Three ways. They get their own sign-in, showing only the packs you shared with them — the same tech pack you export, with your costs removed before it ever leaves the server. You can download it as a print-ready PDF. Or you can email it straight from the pack, in your own mail client, with the reference and revision already filled in.
Make one, or bring your own.
Either way it comes back as a tech pack.
